I feel a bit sad today
Time to make some changes ...
The song is so appealing to me ...

HDX vs PCoIP
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) becomes more mature, people start to realise more about the potential application on virtual desktop. With HDX and PCoIP, user’s experience is further raised with high quality view.
Mobile users are more than happy to use it as a thin client, more and more people will be able to work from home office via this path.

Xendesktop 4
The new feature of HDX from Xendesktop 4 is very promising. Wonder if the performance is still efficient under WAN with high latency?
I always have this question because the main use of this is for remote office users. If I have to upgrade the bandwidth between offices or if I have to do spend a lot of effort to make this work, what is the point ?
Knowing the new technique of HDX is encouraging because a lot of heavy graphic work can be off-loaded on the server side rather than on the client side. And I'd like to see some live tests or demos before I am impressed.

Technologies
The world is ever changing, and new technologies emerge even faster than you can think. People are more intelligent today, and the majority of people are still catching up with these rapid changes.
Are we leading the technologies ?
Are we led by the technologies ?
or
Are we led by the people who creates these new technologies ?
Are we leading the people who creates these new technologies ?
The key thing probably is how to explore and make use of these emerging new technologies. Do we really need these technologies ?
Are these new technologies changing our life, the way we interact ?
How important is the impact of the new technologies ?
???

Alanta Sunset and Night
The sunset was very nice on Wednesday, if compared to the Monday early morning, it's lightly snowing. The night view from hotel was nice and quiet too!
The weather changed quite fast and there's a big difference in temperature. The highest so far was 16 degrees while the lowest was 3 degrees, definitely different from my last visit. And same like last time, I missed Wendy's so much since this was not available in both London and Hong Kong. So I bought the biggest triple bacon beef cheese burger meal. Yeah ... Very nice !

Flight to US
My flight on Sunday was a scary one.
There was about an hour left before arriving Atlanta in the US.
The plane was forced to flying in 2 round of circles to avoid the thunderstorm, and of course the plane was up and down a few times.
So the people in the plane were worrying about it, and me too.
The guy sat 2 seats (we were not close to each other because it's business class seat) next to me even screamed when the plane had a small free fall ... (in fact we had about 3 times feeling like small free fall)
See below photo I took for the plane's actual flight route and you will understand what I am talking about.
Thanks the Lord our God I finally landed safely and I heard the passengers clapped their hands when we were landed.

Final Fantasy VIII - Eye on me
Just watched again the trailer of Final Fantasy VIII - Eye on me.
It was created in 1999 and the graphics cannot be comparable to today's technologies.
It was still the best final fantasy love story and best song among all series.
This song was sung by Faye Wong and it brings me back a lot of memories.
A lot of good scenes in the trailer;
- the first dance - (with fireworks up above)
- the challenges
- the hug
- the feeling of lost and regain
- the ending reunion
Whenever sang my songs
On the stage, on my own
Whenever said my words
Wishing they would be heard
I saw you smiling at me
Was it real or just my fantasy
You'd always be there in the corner
Of this tiny little bar
My last night here for you
Same old songs, just once more
My last night here with you?
Maybe yes, maybe no
I kind of liked it your way
How you shyly placed your eyes on me
Oh, did you ever know?
That I had mine on you
Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer
So let me come to you
Close as I wanted to be
Close enough for me
To feel your heart beating fast
And stay there as I whisper
How I loved your peaceful eyes on me
did you ever know
That I had mine on you
Darling, so share with me
Your love if you have enough
Your tears if your're holding back
Or pain if that's what it is
How can I let you know
I'm more than the dress and the voice
Just reach me out then
You will know that you're not dreaming
Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer
(Windermere Lake District).

Brussels - Belgium
The Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula (http://www.cathedralestmichel.be/)

Wooh ~Wooh~

Say Goodbye
Say Goodbye
Say Goodbye

真的很有感情... so soft ... so touching ...

看來看去還是較喜歡以下兩位成員;

有時會問自已, 為甚麼砌高達模型? 除了是喜歡它之外, 有兩個好處;
Anyway,

Alan
